# ComicFab — AI Comic & Manga Generator

> A browser-based AI comic generator for turning scripts into editable comic and manga pages.

## Overview
ComicFab helps comic creators plan storyboards, reuse character references, arrange panel layouts, generate artwork, and edit lettering. AI planning and image generation require sign-in and credits. New projects use paged comic layouts.

## Core Capabilities
- **Text-to-Comic Pipeline**: Turns natural language scripts into structured narrative beats, composition blueprints, and multi-panel pages.
- **Character References (Lore)**: Reuse face, body, and outfit references across panels. References support continuity; generated results can still drift and need review. Visual DNA guides drawing style rather than guaranteeing character identity.
- **Paged Comic Layouts**: 58 editable page templates. New vertical-scroll Webtoon projects are not currently offered.
- **Editable Lettering**: Edit and place dialogue bubbles, captions, and sound effects on the page. Review lettering placement before export.
- **Per-Panel Regeneration**: Edit a panel description and regenerate that image without regenerating every image on the page.
- **Export**: Export comic pages as PNG images. Review output and the Terms of Service before publishing or commercial use.

## Free Public Tools
- **Manga Storyboard Demo**: Edit a fixed four-panel example, dialogue, descriptions, reading order, and three page templates without signing in. Save locally or download JSON reference notes. It does not generate images or transfer a studio project.
- **Comic Panel Layout Maker**: Edit page templates, panel shapes, and gutters; download a PNG without signing in. No artwork generation, upload, or remote saving is provided in this tool.
