Import or write a script

Paste an existing script, or start from a story idea.

Confirm panels and layout

Check what each panel shows, then set the reading order for the page.

Generate art, add dialogue

Generate with character references, then edit speech bubbles, captions and sound effects.

Change a line, see the panel.

Try lettering with prepared artwork: select a panel, rewrite its line, then switch the four-panel layout.

Saved character references

Keep face, build and outfit references in one place. They guide each new panel, so a character starts closer to the previous page.

References guide generation; check how the character reads in every panel before publishing.

How references help consistency

Choose a panel, adjust its description and regenerate

Rewrite one panel's description and render that frame again. The rest of the page stays as it is.

Change the page layout

Move the emphasis of a page by changing its panel arrangement. The free layout tool works from the same templates as the studio.

Questions, answered.

How references, exports and credits work.

Can I use ComicFab without drawing skills?

Yes. Bring a script or a story idea, confirm the panel plan and page layout, and edit the dialogue. The artwork is generated from your descriptions, so no drawing is required.

How do I keep a character consistent across panels?

Save face, body and outfit references for the character. They guide each generated panel, but results can still drift, so check every panel before you publish.

Can I use the comics commercially?

Commercial use depends on your plan and the Terms. Only upload scripts and reference images you have the rights to use. Terms of Service

Can I make vertical webtoon comics?

New projects are paged comics with editable page layouts. A vertical-scroll creation flow is not available yet.

Which export formats are supported?

The studio exports PNG pages and chapter ZIPs. The free storyboard demo only produces planning notes, not finished page files.

How do credits work, and do they expire?

AI script generation, storyboard planning, image generation and panel regeneration use credits; the confirmation before each operation shows the charge. Expiration depends on your current plan, so check the plan details and credit terms before you pay. Pricing
