Script to comic

Turn a script into editable comic pages

Paste a chapter, treatment, or scene outline. ComicFab breaks it into story beats, plans panel compositions, and keeps every page editable.

You review the plan before artwork is generated. Nothing is locked into a single lucky render.

From text to a page you can direct

01

Paste your script

Add a full chapter or a short scene. ComicFab accepts prose, screenplay-style dialogue, and loose notes.

02

Review the beat plan

The planner proposes page rhythm, panel counts, and a focal panel for each page. Edit descriptions and dialogue first.

03

Generate and letter

Render panels with character references, then place speech bubbles, captions, and sound effects on the finished page.

Why a script-first workflow matters

Keep the writer's intent

Dialogue and narration stay attached to the panel they belong to, so lettering is not a separate copy-and-paste job.

Direct the page

Page blueprints flag the hero panel and rhythm. You can change the plan instead of accepting one lucky image.

Fix one panel

Regenerate a single panel when a face or gesture misses, without rerolling the rest of the page.

Script to comic questions

What script formats can I paste?

Plain prose, screenplay-style scenes, and bullet outlines. Very long manuscripts are best split by chapter.

Does ComicFab draw exactly what I wrote?

It follows your descriptions and the selected layout, but generated artwork still needs review for continuity and detail.

Can I edit the result?

Yes. Panel descriptions, layouts, dialogue, captions, and sound effects remain editable in the studio.
